Four Words...Part 3

Mary said “Be it unto me” and her life was changed.  The shepherds said “let us now go” and their lives were changed.  The last four words that I would like to look at have changed and continue to change my life and your life... You just might not realize it.  The cool thing about the final four words?  Not only are they seen in Matthew’s version of the Christmas Story, but they were also prophesied in the book of Isaiah hundreds of years before.  It just goes to show how AWESOME God is! :)

4 words... Part 2

Mary’s life was changed by four words and if you think that she was an unlikely character to speak such powerful words then the next group was WAY unlikely.  Many people thought that the Savior of the world would come by way of a great king who would be worshiped by the highest of highs.  Ha!  We all know that is not what happened!  Instead the King of Kings came in the form of a little baby and was worshiped by some very unlikely characters…. One group being Shepherds.

That’s right. I’m a people pleaser. I spend much of my time and energy focusing on the needs or desires of the people around me.  Many times that comes at the expense of my own needs and desires. But, they say acceptance is the first step to recovery, right!?
