It was fun listening to your podcast for the first time, I liked it!

The one thing I was dying to chime in on, was the bit on godliness and striving for godliness. And that 'all of us try to get there'. I have found that often there is a confusion between godliness and religion. Because God does not want us to be perfect and always feeling like we're in pursuit and striving toward something that cannot be obtained. We can't do something that is enough. We never could and never will be able to. That's why God did it all for us through Jesus.

I believe the kind of godliness that God wants from us, is through having the right view of God and of ourselves. Accepting His love for us in every situation, which always draws us closer to Him. As opposed to viewing ourselves as unworthy or always trying to be good. We are a work in progress, because sanctification through the Potters hands is a process and not overnight in every area. However, God sees the blood of Jesus over us when He looks at us and we are a masterpiece to Him.

Jesus said we, as Christians, will do MORE than He did in our ministry. Understanding this truth is something that helped me view myself as good enough for God as opposed to always striving and feeling bad about myself. God says we are worthy and therefore godly, depending on where our heart is.

This is what came to mind while listening!
