"Don't worry, He will Prevail"

Okay, January isn't even over yet and I don't know about you all, but my past month has been quite the roller coaster ride. I don't know if it's a coincidence or if it is God asking me to take a step back and listen. Either way, it has been crazy and I am going to vent to you all about it if that's okay.

Basically, there is just a lot of chaos going on all at one time.  As I have talked to some people about it, I have come to the conclusion that God will never throw so much at us that we cannot handle it. I'm having a tough time communicating with my family about certain topics. I have had to say goodbye to multiple friends. School is becoming a little overwhelming. And worst of all, I feel as if I am slowly fading away from my relationship with Jesus, and that is not an option. As I pray about it and try to figure everyting out, He revealed something to me. I am spending too much time focusing on worldly values rather than spending time with Him. If I don't turn to Him and trust Him, then things will not get better, they will only get worse. I have tried dealing with my struggles on my own and that isn't what He asks us to do. He tells us to give our worries to Him. Matthew 6:25-27 tells us:

25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

This is easier said than done, in my opinion, but I am going to challenge myself to hand things over to Him and have faith that His plan will prevail. Sometimes God has to let things fall apart for us to realize He has bigger plans for us.

Honestly, I think I just wanted to vent and writing about it seemed easiest. If you have any advice feel free to leave a comment below or send me an e-mail to contact@glamministries.org I will leave you with this… Don’t stress the small things. Hand your worries over to our Savior and try to let life happen. Good luck!
