Shepherds, Why This Jubilee?

I LOVE Christmas music… Well, as long as it is after Thanksgiving and before the New Year.  Nonetheless, I still love it!  Every year I am brought back to the memories of the years and years of Christmas’ past.  And without fail, every year I think I know every word to every “classic” Christmas carol.  The music starts, whether it is on the radio, in a store or in church, and I start singing along.  At first I feel pretty good about myself for remembering the words since last Christmas and then… the dreaded second verse comes.  Yep, I just thought I knew all the words.  Come on, you know what I am talking about!

Jesus Really is the Difference.

Last week I was able to enjoy five glorious days away from the world sailing the seas.  And yes, it was great.  I had never been on cruise before, but I have to admit, I am hooked now.  Our graduation celebration in the GLAM office!Back in May my ex-boss/mentor/friend, Niki, and I graduated from seminary with our Masters Degree.  It was a glorius day after four long years of reading, writing and encouraging each other along.  I honestly did not think I would ever see the end, but we did.  Not only did we finish, but if I were the boasting kind, I would say that we finished well! ;)

My World is Spinning

AHHH! It won't stop spinning!!!!Literally.  As I sit at my desk and type this, I feel like I am on the Tilt-A-Whirl at the fair spinning 'round and 'round.  Seriously.  Do you know how difficult it is to sit, stare at a screen and type when your world is spinning?!  I’ll give you a clue… IT’S NOT EASY!
